Campaign Description

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE CAMPAIGN: Sally hopes to attend massage therapy school, but is unable to qualify for a loan. In order to move forward with her career ambitions - and with her life - Sally is offering a campaign to raise the funds needed to attend massage therapy school. Sally is offering future massage therapy services to supporters, with the understanding that their support is allowing her to attend massage therapy school as well.
Story

• Why are you launching this campaign? (This is perhaps the most important aspect, people want to know what your needs are, what is your story; they want to support you and your specific cause or need): Sally is unable to afford massage therapy school, and is also unable to qualify for a loan. Focused on finding a solution, Sally is offering a campaign in which supporters can purchase massage therapy treatments for themselves (or for others as a gift) to be redeemed in the future. They also understand that by providing this support they are helping Sally to attend massage therapy school, gain a new profession, and move forward with her life.

What service(s) and/or product(s) are you offering in exchange for support to achieve your goal? (What makes this uniquely you? What unique services, skills, and/or products can you provide?): Sally is offering 90 minute massage therapy sessions for $60.

What are your immediate needs and goals?: $12,000.

What are your more long-term goals?: This is a one-time effort (however, this will also provide an opening marketing campaign as well as list of clients for Sally once she graduates from massage therapy school).

In what ways are you taking accountability and initiative to achieve those goals?: Seeking a solution in which support is earned, and supporters receive professional massage therapy treatments in exchange for support.

In what ways do you need support?: Sally can't afford tuition or access a loan.

Total needed to raise: $12,000.

Income per service or product offered: $60 per 90 minute massage therapy treatment.

Total combined sales of service or products needed to achieve your long-term goal (total needed to raise divided by the income per service or product): 200 total massage therapy treatments * $60 = $12,000.

If you had to divide the above up into achievable phases, how many campaigns do you think it would take to reach your long-term goal?:

Let’s start with your most immediate needs and goals, and create a campaign specifically for that. What is your immediate financial need and goal?:

What services and or products are you offering, and at which price?: Listed above.

What makes your services and or products uniquely you?: Sally will be providing the massage therapy treatments.

How many services or products do you need to sell to achieve the
goals of this first campaign?: 200

How soon do you hope to raise the funds for this first campaign?: Within 60 days before the next semester begins at massage therapy school.

After succeeding in this first campaign, consider what the next achievable phase would be (it might be simply repeating what you did before, and building momentum along with expanding upon your community of Social Network TM members that have already supported you): Sally would like to offer yearly campaigns as a method to: 1. reward regular clients with discounted treatments; 2. generate marketing; and 3. gain new clients via campaigns on the Social Debtwork TM platform.

In what ways are you demonstrating…
o Perseverance:
o Initiative:
o Sensible budgeting:
